FAQ

Gifts?
No gifts please. We feel so grateful to have our favourite people making the trip to celebrate with us.
Little Ones?
We love your littles ones but this is a great excuse to leave them at home and enjoy some adult time.
Dress code?
Relaxed cocktail. It can get surprisingly chilly this time of year in Tenterfield so bring a jacket or wrap for later in the evening.
Indoors or outdoors?
A bit of both. The ceremony is outside while dinner and dancing will be indoors.
Dietaries?
Please let us know of any dietary requirements when you RSVP and we’ll make sure you’re well looked after by the Stonefruit team.

Any tips for Tenterfield?

Nature
Surrounded by six national parks and several World Heritage Sites there's plenty of options. Giraween, Bald Rock, Boonoo Boonoo and Mt McKenzie Lookout are highly recommended.
Food and Wine
There are two great pubs in town (The Commercial & The Royal) and a brewery down the road at Deepwater. Bad Manners is a great spot for coffee, GF donuts and killer sausage rolls and pies.

Suttons Farm in Stanthorpe is a great stop enroute and has the best apple pies!
History
Tenterfield is the ‘birthplace of Australia’ – where Sir Henry Parkes made his famous 1889 speech calling for Australia's federation. The Memorial School of Arts is worth a visit.

Other highlights include the Tenterfield Saddler, made famous by Peter Allen in his 1972 song by the same name, and the Tenterfield Railway Museum. A step back in time to the 1880s.

Bushrangers are also a big part of Tenterfield's history and Captain Thunderbolt is their most famous example. His various hideouts and lookouts in the region are absolutely amazing and well worth a visit.
Riding
Lots of great options on and off road. Join our bride and groom ride on Saturday afternoon or reach out and we can share some of our favourites.
